She is also the co-founder and CEO of Palma Consulting, specializing in strategic management, performance management, business transformation, and digital transformation. Tamara has served as the former President of the Global Institute of Certified Management Consultants’ board of directors and is a board member of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes.
Recognizing the importance of networking and support networks, Tamara was involved in co-founding the Women in Business Arabia network, which has grown to include over 45,000 members of businesswomen and professionals in the Arab region. Tamara advises numerous leading companies and women-owned businesses in the region. She is also a member of the VV100, a select group of 100 women highly engaged in the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network.
Tamara serves as a Certified Board Director and is currently a board member of the Jordanian Business and Professional Women Association. She also serves on the board of the Middle East Payment Services (MEPS), a leading electronic payment company in Jordan, Iraq, and Palestine. Additionally, she sits on advisory boards for several prominent companies in Jordan.
She has designed numerous consulting and training programs to support startups and small to medium-sized enterprises in their growth journeys. In 2009, Tamara was selected to participate in the U.S. Department of State and Fortune magazine’s Global Women Leaders Program, receiving mentorship from executives at Accenture Company in New York and Chicago.
Furthermore, Tamara participated in the Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship, which was called for by President Obama and hosted by the White House in Washington, D.C. in April 2010 due to her role in supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as her consulting expertise and successful professional career, which she has leveraged to benefit numerous institutions across various sectors in the Arab region.
Arabian Business magazine named Tamara Abdul-Jaber one of the 100 Most Powerful Arab Women for 2011. She was also listed as one of the Most Powerful Arab Personalities in the World by Arabian Business for the years 2011-2013. Forbes Middle East magazine named her one of the Top 200 Most Powerful Arab Women in 2014.
