Dr. Nadia is the Technical Support and Rehabilitation Consultant at Cochlear Middle East and Africa (Cochlear MEA). Dr. Nadia Abdelhak is a speech and language pathologist with a Master’s degree from the University of Jordan in Speech Disorders. Over the years, she has been actively involved in developing various programs, such as speech and hearing therapy services at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in 1998. She also introduced a Bachelor’s program in Speech and Hearing at Birzeit University in 2011 and played a role in establishing the Cochlear Implant Program at Beit Jala Arab Society Hospital.
She has also been part of an international team at Cochlear, a cochlear implant company, since 2009 until now. Her responsibilities include technical support, clinical support, and training audiologists in diagnosing and treating patients with hearing impairments both before and after cochlear implantation.
She tirelessly works to raise awareness and knowledge in the field of hearing impairment, emphasizing early detection and intervention, empowering patients, their families, and professionals to overcome the challenges of hearing impairment and enjoy full life opportunities.
