Khadija has over 25 years of experience in the fields of tourism, aviation, retail, and events. She holds a high diploma in Business Administration from the Dubai Women’s College of Higher Technology.
Khadija Mohammed Turki began her professional journey as part of the first team that managed the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) in 1997. Later, in 2001, she joined the aviation industry with Emirates Airlines, where she spent 7 years as a part of the corporate communications team, organizing and managing Emirates Airlines’ activities and events worldwide. This included events such as the Dubai International Airshow, Dubai World Cup, Dubai International Film Festival, ITB Berlin, ATM, WTM, as well as coordinating numerous sports and corporate activities for the group. Before joining the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman, Khadija joined the Dubai Tourism and Commercial Marketing Department in 2013. She held various roles that contributed significantly to the successful promotion of Dubai as a family destination and an international business hub.
By the end of 2018, she had become a part-time faculty member and trainer at Dubai College of Tourism, where she contributed to the education and training of tourism students, passing on her practical experience to the next generations and helping to refine their skills. Khadija has a passion for mountain climbing, and her love for this hobby has led her to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro eight times in Africa and many other mountains around the world. She even attempted to climb the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest, reaching the fourth camp at an altitude of 8,000 meters.
